CROWNED Privacy Policy
This policy explains how CROWNED processes information while friends play together across their phones and during support interactions.
Last updated: August 12, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how CROWNED: Party Games processes information when users create rooms, join games, and participate in multiplayer sessions. It also covers information users choose to provide when contacting support.
2. Information processed
CROWNED processes the following categories to provide its documented features:
- Player nickname: saved locally and used as a display name in multiplayer rooms.
- Anonymous user identifier: created or restored through anonymous authentication so a player can use rooms without registering a traditional account.
- Room information: a room identifier or six-character room code, host identity, room lifecycle status, and player membership.
- Multiplayer game state: room-scoped events such as participant snapshots, round identifiers, timestamps, input submissions, phase transitions, capability or readiness state, and results required to coordinate play.
- Local preferences: nickname, volume, and vibration preferences stored on the device.
- Support communications: the email address, message, and attachments a user voluntarily sends when requesting support.
3. Device permissions
Camera
Camera access is used to scan room QR codes and resolve the room code needed to join. The published implementation description does not identify camera images as multiplayer data and states that the scanner is not intended to record video or audio. The production scanner implementation and native permission configuration are not present in the public repository, so this policy does not make a more specific claim about temporary camera-frame processing.
Microphone
Microphone access is used during voice-based gameplay to estimate pitch. The published implementation description states that microphone input is processed on the device into bounded pitch observations and a compact summary. Those numerical observations and the summary may be transmitted for shared visualization and gameplay; raw microphone audio is not described as multiplayer state. The public repository does not contain the production audio implementation, so no broader claim is made about platform or service diagnostic metadata.
Motion sensors
Motion sensor access is used for movement-based gameplay. The documented architecture filters orientation and acceleration on the device before emitting a gameplay claim. It does not describe transmitting a continuous stream of raw motion readings. The production sensor implementation and native configuration are not included in the public repository.
4. How information is used
The information described above is used to:
- Create, join, manage, and close multiplayer rooms.
- Synchronize players, game selection, round timing, input, transitions, and results.
- Operate camera-, microphone-, motion-, touch-, and device-based gameplay.
- Validate multiplayer events, reduce stale or invalid actions, and debug technical problems.
- Respond to support questions, bug reports, feedback, and privacy requests.
5. Service providers
CROWNED uses Supabase as infrastructure for anonymous authentication, Postgres database storage, and real-time multiplayer synchronization. Supabase processes information on behalf of the service as needed to provide those functions. Support emails are also processed through the email services used by the sender and developer.
6. Advertising and selling data
The public dependency manifest and published sample code do not contain advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs, and the project materials do not describe selling information or using it for targeted advertising. Because the production application source, native configuration, and production dependency manifest are not included in the public repository, this repository audit cannot independently verify every component of the distributed app. This policy will be updated if these practices change.
7. Data retention
Room and player membership records are stored in the backend. A participant leaving removes that player’s room membership, and a host leaving closes the room, but the public implementation does not establish an exact automatic deletion schedule for room records or anonymous authentication accounts. Multiplayer broadcast events are described as transient and are not used as a durable event log.
Local preferences may remain on the device until they are changed or the app’s local data is removed. Support emails may be retained as needed to respond, maintain the support correspondence, and meet applicable obligations. No fixed support-email retention period is promised.
8. Security
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to protect information, including authenticated room operations and validation of multiplayer event context. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and perfect security cannot be guaranteed.
9. Children’s privacy
CROWNED is intended for mature social party entertainment and is not designed for children. If you believe a child has provided information through the service, contact the developer so the concern can be reviewed and appropriate action can be taken.
10. International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than the user’s country where applicable. Privacy and data-protection rules may differ between jurisdictions.
11. User choices and requests
You may contact tminnpprk@gmail.com with privacy questions or to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. Include enough information to identify the relevant support correspondence, anonymous account, or room activity, but never send passwords, authentication tokens, private keys, or other sensitive information.
12. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes to CROWNED, its service providers, or applicable requirements. The revised “Last updated” date will be shown at the top of this page.

14. Party-game meaning
CROWNED is a real-time multiplayer party game inspired by Korean party culture. Each player joins from their own phone and plays together in the same room. “CROWNED” means the player who lost or was selected by the result of the round, and the result reveal identifies that player as <NAME> GOT CROWNED.
